Just caught up with this Monica. The tank is looking good, as usual the buildings are looking very convincing. Looking forward to seeing the result!

well got some paint on it last,night,
and started the running gear and tracks this morning,;)

Was there a lot of flash or mold lines?

ta,Christian,so very glad that your liking this one,so far,;)
there is very little to none,flash,a few mold lines,like with ,most kits,its a real nice build,

Interesting, since the kit is from 1990, according to ScaleMates.com Of course, batches vary sometimes, I hear.

Glad to hear you didn't have any trouble.

if you hve a look at the sprue shots,you can see how clear they are ,Christian,
maybe the chap doing the review,had a bad one,:rolleyes:

well have both hulls,and tracks on,
started to do the,pin lining in a way,with a very dark green,its not real picking up ,what I,wont it to do,
so may,think of what else I can use to high light them a little,better,:rolleyes:
so I,m kind of stuck,at the moment,for the making,still,trying to find out what was used,:eek:

Oh, I have not read any negative reviews on this kit, and the sprues you got definitely looked beautiful!

Scalemates.com is a database, and it has many thousands of kits, including lineage, year of release, links to reviews (often containing pictures), album functions for posting your projects, etc. I just learned about it a few weeks ago, and it is awesome :-)

Looking forward to following this larger Sherman tank. It looks really cool 1;35, as well as in 1:56 :)
