While I sob in coffee and figure out what I'm going to do to resurrect my G6 build and the botched "milky" matt varnish coat, I decided I needed a change.

Nearly melted my brain trying to figure out how build it to a point that I can start painting. A very interesting 1/12 kit that is a throw back from my youth and my ongoing love for Robotech, where Harmony Gold mashed three similar Japenese anime series together for syndication purposes and created Robotech. The first was Macross, the second was Southern Cross Cavalry (I think) and the third was Mospeada. Well anyway after a zillion law suites and legal wranglings this still remains my introduction to MECHA!!
One of the more interesting mecha from "Robotech" was the motorcycle based power suites shown in the third series of the show. What is there not to like??
Moving along swiftly, quite a complex kit for its size.

At this point in time, my brain nearly imploded!
I needed to hang the folded up motorcycle-cum-power frame on the "motorcyclist".

Firstly I hung it on the torso.

I then fitted the side straps, legs and arms to get a feel of it's stance.

Well that's where I am for now, some more building, neatening up joints and then a base coat before anything else. Don't quite like colours they show, much prefer the military green look on the box cover.
Anyway, food for thought.
Till later.
