Jeez Laurie I thought my sunken wrecks where rust buckets but this is weathering to the extreme... :D

Si:)

Brilliant effect there Laurie! I'd give you several hundred stars but for one small detail - these things were fabric covered not steel.

Nice chipping work Laurie, but I think you need to work more on the rigging it's a little too thick try some EZline

Laurie has produced the prototype steal version Gern, it wasn't practical though, it was so heavy the only way to get it in the air was to stick it on a big metal arm but the pilot just got dizzy going around in circles for an hour :D

Nice weathering mate, but not sure about the Dio it's sitting on, didn't these types live in fields not up trees?

Tony.

Looks pristine compared to some of the vehicles on the roads up here.

Ah! I couldn't think how Laurie would have made such an elemental mistake.

Come on chaps you do not recognize it do you ? This is the one they dug up in Burma hidden for all those years. Perhaps not recognizable as portrayed here in its renovated state.

Is this an overnight process Laurie, because I generally don't like to stop for a shave half way through a weathering session ;)

Laurie old boy, you really should have told the lady to put some cloths on before you took the first picture!

One of your better attempts at modelling Laurie - you are certainly improving. Try adding some decals to it! Don't forget to use a gloss varnish first though, otherwise you'll get the dreaded.........!

Sorry to disagree Laurie, but this can't be the Mk1 prototype. The Mk1 had a pointed spinner, not the rounded one shown. This just has to be the early

MkII - later MkII versions did have the rounded spinner, but all of those were fitted with Goodyear tyres and not the Dunlops that this one has.
