Nicely set out malcolm, some great detailing and weathering in there.

I got lucky with this kit at the Hinckley show a few years ago.
I bought a Lottery ticket on the Saturday and got 4 numbers up and won £103.
The kit cost me £75 from a trader, nett cost to me in real terms was £1.
Phalinmegob, I used some twigs that I picked up on a trip to the local woods.
I drilled holes in the twigs and glued some `sea-foam in place.
When dry I used spray carpet glue sprayed onto the `trees` and, starting in the middle of the tree sprinkled my own mix onto it and when dry sealed it with some outside wall sealer from a spray can.
Over time they do fade a bit but a quick burst with a rattle can puts some colour back on them.
The `Mix` I use consists of various scatters, real herbs, small flakes of tobacco, tea leaves.
For the trees I add more herbs to give a more `leafy` look to the mix whereas I use less herbs for ground work.
Under the trees where dead leaves can be found I sprinkle tea leaves, tobacco which I got from my mates cigar stubs, which are crunched up to different sizes and dark scatters.
I also use a lot of real soil and sand in my ground work.
The plaster I use to make the basic shape of the ground is mixed up using water, PVA glue and paint to pre-colour it.
This paint, I get from DIY stores, it is the small tester pots that cost around a pound or two.
I find it simple and effective and above all a cheap way of creating ground work.

Aaron, I`m currently working on a small dio of a Jeep in British service during the Suez crisis with another set of these figures converted to British Paratroops playing cards besides the Jeep.
They are a great set and only need the heads changing to suit just about any army if painted in the right colours.
