I haven't been for years, and I finally persuaded everyone that I deserved it.


Everyone enjoyed it - wife and two daughters. Mrs B is a bit of a photography fan and took 400+ pics. The kids enjoyed the interactive displays, the flight simulator and the walk through the Sunderland. The aircraft on display are all the classic ones you would expect, plus a few others.


A great day out.


Plus, when we got home, the TV conked out. Looks like we'll have to get a new one. Shame!

Beware of the telly. Our old one played up one night, we all looked at each other, quietly smiling to ourselves thinking - new telly on the way. It was late, so we switched it off and went to bed. The bloody thing was working next day !

Nice one Tony. When I was there in the late 1990s I spent an entire day, but you could easily spend two or three in there.
