Nice collection Ray, the Fords look good.
Thanks I used to be a ford man in my youth the mk1 xr2 is actually resin not die cast metal as is the uno turbo. I have another couple on the way so as soon as these arrive I will get the pics up.

My faves are the Sierra Cosworth and the MK III Capri. Was never a fan of the MK II Capri...the front headlights ruined it for me.

No sadly these are all prebuilt as I can no longer build kits. I have owned every RS escort from mk1 to mk6 sadly I wrote my mk6 RS 2000 4x4 off in spectacular fashion but that's another story lol.

You are very lucky to have owned all those. I want to know the story lol.

Great new collection, I love the old Ford's. Keep posting mate. A good few of us will be very keen to follow

Ray, I know you cannot model anymore, but have you seen these for your collection: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-18-scale-modified-aluminium-exhaust-3-rolled-end-for-rs-turbo-rs-1600i-xr3-/191702426725?hash=item2ca25ae465

My pal from school ( long time ago ) bought a written off mk1 Mexico from a scrappy then rebuilt it on a Mk1 1100 stripping scrapped car then storing parts then stripped 1100 and then rebuilt it as Mexico ( never had the logos, Roll bar, 2 seats, rally arches, diamond white with blue stripe ( battery in the boot ) and the thing was the fastest thing on 4 wheels!!! ( those were the days)

( sorry reminiscing )

I really wanted to build the Mk 1 as a kit but couldn't find a kit builder anywhere

Robert
