Hi All,

I've been working on a RC semi scale version of the TB-85 torpedo boat. The original was built in 1882 by Thornycroft. The model is scratch built scale 1:16 and will be fully functional with lights, smoke stacks (no steam power unfortunately) and pneumatic launch tubes. Attached a couple of shots to give a bit of an impression...

Thanks for the compliments! I started building this model some 20 years ago and put her aside for studies and other life related stuff (marriage, a move from the Netherlands to California etc.) Though I have finally rekindled with her, she won't be ready for a winter launching as my time is still quite limited and my wife is an activities director (literally and figuratively). I'm getting closer to finishing the outside and need to spend more time on the controls next. I'll post more pictures when I get a chance.
