Hello everyone here is my latest model a 42 inch scratchbuilt nautilus submarine from the 1960s film I hope that you like it and please let me know what you think as this will help me to improve my models.

at the moment she is on display at TRANSPORT MODEL IN PRESTON LANCASHIRE. why not pop in and see her in the flesh so to speak.

The submarine is looking verry good. I like the way you paint it. But it is something wrong with the color of the glass.I don't have the impression of glass when I am looking at it. You have a masterpiece there. Keep doing good quality!

thank you for the kind words guys and yes there is something wrong with the glass it is not glass, but a mouding, this was a quick build and had I fitted glass or perspex I would have to spend a lot of time on getting the interior correct so I opted for a moulding on my very large scale modelw hich I built some years ago I did use a perspex dome and built the wheel house here is a photo of my six foot long nautllus which is now in the hands of a private collector.
