im new, not new to models, but new to camoflage. i need advice on painting camo, any tips?

I build 1/35 scale armour WWII most of the camoflage i will do with an air brush by hand as i find this gives a faded edge effect however if you want more of a hard edge to your patterns then roll out some blue tack into thin sausages and place it where you want it then either paint using a brush or you can air brush, these are the methods i tend to use for the three tone ambush pattern used by the germans.
