Hi all.

Now I know it's late, but hopefully I'm going to try and sneak this in before the finish date.

Its the new-tool version of the Fairey Swordfish. A lovely little kit with loads of detail, light-years ahead of the old Airfix model.

It's going to be OOB, but hopefully crewed and ona small base, if time allows.

A box shot, and scenes of the started cockpit.....

Nice painting on the small cockpit. It's good to see positive things about the airfix kits now

Nice choice Neil!!

You can take all the time you need, to build this little beauty!! Don't worry!! ;)

Great work Neil.

That's a lot better than the old one I did a few years ago some great detail

Looks good Neil, there is a fair amount of detail in there already. As you say the crew will hide most of it.

Hi all. Managed to get quite a bit done. You're right Ian, it's a lovely kit with lots of little detail on it.

A couple of points I've found though. I really don't like 3 piece fuselages, I just can't seem to get on with them.

And this kit doesn't allow you to assemble the airframe with just the lower wings attached, which is a bit of a problem for painting. So I'm going to try doing it with the upper and lower wings assembled, paint both them and the fuselage, then complete.

That's the plan, anyway.....

Good progress Neil,

I built the float version sometime ago and certainly agree it's a great kit to build.
