New Forum Front Page

I've started to make changes to the forums front page, lot more changes to come yet, watch this space!!

You can find the forum here

Just to confuse things a little, if you reading this on the forum already you don't need to click the link above :) replies can be made to these posts from either the front page or the forum thread

I'm trying to add selection of posts from the forum to the front page, as well as news, reviews etc etc

TBH it's new to me as well :)

First impressions are that it looks like someone's blog so perhaps that might deter new members?

My thought is that people are kinda lazy & won't look any further than the front page, missing the forum.

mmmm I,m like Lee sorry to say a little scared as well that I will not be able to find things

The forums haven't changed I've just added a CMS page, we had one before I changed the forum software and we still had lots of people join, I have a lot of changes to make, it won't look like a blog when I've finished

Just thinking about it, you can bypass the front page just change your bookmark to this page http://www.scale-models.co.uk/community/

When I click my bookmark I get the new front page. Can we access the forum from there, at present I click on 'alerts' which takes me to the more familiar version.
