Is it just my eyes going bad, or is the last letter in the last word end in a Y and not in the standard R. Now I admit I do live in the US, but I didn't think we spelled that many words differently. Or am I missing something?

A bit early for me - Christmas doesn't start in this household until midnight on the 24th - but I like it...

It's a bit early for me, but at work they put the dec's up about 3 weeks ago

as for the lighter background I must say I prefer it and I'm working on another skin for the new year

It looks great John ! just completed this christmas diorama for my dear wife,she collects these christmas figures that light up,the engine in the foreground is a work of art,it puffs steam,articulates and lights up and has 16 different tunes,just thought that it would add a bit more festive spirit to your new christmas theme.

By the way,agree on the lighter colours,the are much easier on the eyes I think,pastel shades look good and above all it is good to have a change,you have achieved a lot this year John,it has brought a lot of modellers and enthusiasts together through this group.

well done, :chlead: :chlead: like the trees and it makes the site seem lighter. You have been talking about making changes to the banner for a while.

I think by March this might seem dated though!

It is only a chistmas style and will change soon, I am curently using the new style just checking nothings missing and I still have to do some new buttons, but it will be ready for the new year
