I am a relative ’newbie’ to the forum and this is the first time I have had the nerve to offer help/opinions but as a starter project take look at the Meng ‘Toon’ armour/ship kits. They are cheap, simple to build, and idiot proof, a joy to paint, you can ‘play around’ with them and you don’t have to worry about accuracy or “rivet counting”.
I tried my hand with these and really enjoyed the time spent. Whatever genre you choose, the chaps on this forum will give you nothing but help and encouragement.
