Morning Mr StuG.

Enjoyably watching this from the back as the front seats were all taken by other Rabbel members.
Now I must take notes as I think I have this in my stash, not going to look as sitting in bed having tea and toast !
Keep it coming .

Vallejo Si, only needs a touch of thinner. Never really tried anything else sprayed at 15 psi and lower for the compartment

Hi Scottie, i use those cheap plastic shot glasses to mix the paint with vallejo thinner, good stir and spray at 20 psi or a lot lower for close up.

On the course i did as was told to put my finger on the outside of the glass, let the paint flow up the side, if you cannot see your finger its too thick or see it clearly too thin, works for me.

Back to the Marder, cleaned up the paint splatter and will hide some of it with streaks and grime etc, its now had two thin coats of Vallejo satin varnish, the gun and shield are not correctly fitted so are loose

Tea and toast, tea and toast, I do hope you are not one of these retirees that lay in bed till 09.00 every day - I do.

Good grief..... that is fantastic work with the paint, it really is. No overfilling of the 'holes', that is superb. I wish i could get the same results - pressure up - pressure down - to thin - too thick......
Looking forward to the end result - a job well done.
Mike.

Wow, thanks Mike. Very much appreciated. Would never have thought it was that good!

Next step is to fit the ammo boxs which are painted, chipped and washed ready. Paint and add radio as well. Then mud worn floor etc with grime streaks on the inside walls. Never done a interior so time like the present!!

Many thanks Steve (again) !

Been working on the interior, added the ammo racks, radio etc , added pin wash and more on the floor to hopefully represent dirt on the tread plate.

will leave to dry and look at pigments next, then add the gun

Bob,
Nothing wrong with your build at all, If I have one comment it is that it does not look like a Stug ;).
Cheers, Mike.
