Scale Model Shop

New to modeling and to the forum,

Welcome from me too, Dean.
Probably a bit late now, but another good trick with vinyl tracks (Which I always use) is to rough the surfaces to be joined, heat seal the joint and then fit the tracks over the teeth of the drive sprockets before glueing the drive wheels to the axle stubs. This way you only need to stretch the tracks just a little.

If you do go for the camo, apply the lightest colour first. I used this method for my 'Berlin Brigade' Centurian tank, which has a kind'a, summat like, sort of, same principal, similar paint scheme.

Have fun and enjoy your build.

Cheers.
Ron

Late welcome from me Dean, Rubber tracks, heat a flat headed nail over a candle and use it to seat the joins if glue does not work - very old tip from older person... Cheers Mike.
