...oh yes, the boat. I`d forgotten about that, but a sheep-shed doesnt count I suppose ?

Duncan, simply brilliant workbench pictures, just as I imagined your cosy modelling abodes, those little biplanes look like a lot of fun, tell us more about them,is this your own design ?

Barry, the bipes are Depron Sopwith Pups by www.beelinemodels.com made for calm weather carrier operations. Various colour schemes, including a Hun. GWS IPS, 8 cell NiMh. Beefed-up with bamboo skewers, wing L.E. etc, hook instead of tail skid to catch netting on deck. Various others on wall are o/d s, glo, Cox s and Norvel s for heavier weather, all a bit fast. The grey swept wing is a "Harrier" modded from a Flying Styro jet kit with 049 Cox. The Twin Gyro was a free magazine plan. Orange big wing is for a camera plane, serious video stuff. Profile Me 109, 40 glo.Profile Jumbo Jet (Fudpucker Airlines) is Oz magazine plan. There is a mini size Lazy Bee, 061 Norvel. The Swiss marked twin fin is another mag free plan HB 125 (?) French light plane, Norvel powered. Etc etc. The bigger stuff is in the loft..oh dear, I feel a clean-up coming on.

I had forgotton about the carrier operations Duncan, for new members here Duncan has a huge aircraft carrier that he can actually sit inside and float at a regatta etc, some people will remember this when it was on display at the Museum of flight,East Fortune.

Duncan perhaps you can tell us all about this model again ? it was also shown on the television 'Supermodels' programme a while back.

Right closing date today il will post up a pic of the airbrush in the next hour so come on folks send some pics

...oh yes' date=' the boat. I`d forgotten about that, but a sheep-shed doesnt count I suppose ?[/quote']*** Now that really is novel, sure it counts and what a great storage area as well ! I take it that the sheep have fled long ago, they like the taste of cellulose you know !

No the sheep only go out in summer, they give birth in Spring, out again then shorn later and will be put back in before the winter storms arrive. Thank goodness the boat is painted with RN paint( ex Rosyth Naval Dockyard ) as I once had a KK Chief "sand-papered" by sheep after a fly-away and a week in the hills. Worst problem is migrating Starling and roosting Pigeon droppings on the tarp. cover. That needs 3 or 4 days in the river to clean in the Spring. I`ll dig out some pics. By the way, not very many entries so why not extend the period to let us see other people`s mess or "clinics"?

ok il extend the comp to next saturday so more people can have a go:goodluck:

nice looking model dude

my dad has 2 airbrushes a badger and some other one( the badger is not working but its supposed to be the better one)

i used the red one once it doesnt always put paint on evenly cos it sometimes builds up on the end and it gets blown off and splattered on stuff

Thanks i used to have a lot more space (infact my own room) but then number4 came along closely followed by number 5:-))))) so im relegated to said cupboard. The model you can see is the upper hull of my 1/16 King Tiger im just waiting to weather it before fitting all the electrics

Thread owner
You should definately spend more time modelling and less time expanding the family!!

I have no hesitation in giving my vote to Duncan.

That is not a modelling desk, it is a snapshot of his whole way of life!!
