What do you use for the canvas around the barrel where it connects to the turret. I would really like to know how you do these as the effect looks great on some of your builds.

Hi colin i know three ways of doing this, the first is to use milliput a sculpt it till you get it the way you want it then let it dry. The second i suggest kitchen roll, shape it roughly first then give it a good coating in PVA and water attach it an let it dry or thirdly go to your local material shop and buy a small square of appropriate material and material glue, cut to shape and fix into place. I hope this has been of some use mate.

Thanks for the tips Scott, I did do one with some badadge from the first aid box. Which i soaked and smeared some Humbrol model filler over it on a tamiya chieftian. Which sort of worked but not as good as some I've Seen on here.
