Apologies if this has been mentioned previously.

Tonight on BBC 2 Operation Jericho. The Amiens prison operation to set free prisoners by bombing holes in the prison walls.

This was carried out by Mosquito aircraft lead by Group Captain Pickford who sadly lost his life together with his navigator in the attack.

The Spitfire programme was very interesting last night.

Laurie, thanks for the update! I for one will make sure that I watch this. There is nothing left of Hunsdon Airfield now, save a few buildings/bunkers and a bit of the perimeter track, to say that is where this great raid started. I do believe that there is a memorial there as well to those who served.
