it's like the luftwaffe- 70% were against hitler.
John
I met a Luftwaffe pilot about 20 years ago at a BoB Memorial Day , he was shot down over Kent in 1940 , spent the rest of the war in Canada, he said at first it was a great honou to fight for his country but he soon realised it was no honour, that's all he said , I never pressed him over it

Mmmm....seems this Kubel kit has many pieces!!!

I like the way they engineered the wheel routes as it gives you the chance to turn the wheels without cutting or bending the axel :)

I've gone back to the figures View attachment 116364

I've just noticed a couple of injection marks I'll have to sort out

Due to the uniforms having a lot of crease folds I've had to make up an oil paste by mixing a little paint with thinner so it has the consistency of warm butter , then I plastered it all over the figures and left it for about 15 minutes, then I wiped it off with a sponge , because it's oil it has to be left over night the dry brushed with the base colour a couple of times then just a very slight dry brus in a lighter colour on the tops of the crease folds :)

cheers folks :)

I've nearly finished the painting on these figures and then I'm on to the para , some how I've got to add depth to the smock that will look ok with the camo !

Me thinks that Horsa would look good as a backdrop?

Good work so far Alan

You know lee your right but I only want a little vignette as its all I've got time for at the moment but the idea is sound and I might see what's available at Telford :)

What a brilliant kit that is. I haven't seen one like that before. The figures look very good. This should make a nice diorama.

Cheers Geoff, I was going to use this kit for something else but I couldn't get a German ambulance and saw this one built as one so I decided to do it with theses figures , the kit is very good hardly any clean up on the parts and they fit brilliantly:)
