Hi all good people,

Currently working on the Iron Man Mk. 42, the hands are made of rubber, my paint is peeling of easily and it gets sticky when i touch it, any idea what's the best paint for rubber? Any input are appreciated

Ok, here we go :)

Now this subject I know all too well :)

I painted the hands with an undercoat of Halfords grey primer first, this is a great all rounder undercoat. Next I used Alclad II Gloss Black Base, I leave this then for a week only because some of the Alclad gloss's are very sticky and need time to dry.

Once it's dry I use the Alclad Chrome as a base and this helps show the depth in the final Hotmetal Red colour I use.

Doing the hands this way I had no problems with flaking paint or tacky paint.

Hope this helps
