Thought you might like to know about a couple of new products that will soon be in stock.

Panzer Putty is a dilatant Silicon Putty. It changes its behaviour depending on the force applied. With low force you can easily shape it. A Panzer Putty ball would bounce like a rubber ball, it will splinter when hit with a hammer and breaks smooth when ripped apart. It is not oily or sticky and does not dry and is therefore an ideal tool to airbrush patterns on your models. And not only once but many times.

The RUSTALL™ Weathering System is an easy to use product designed to simulate a random rust pattern for weathering scale model trains, military scale models, scale autos and other miniatures.

RUSTALL™ will produce a random rust pattern on metal, styrene, cast resin, and even paper.

RUSTALL™ is non-corrosive, dries fast, won’t craze plastic and cleans up with soap and water. RUSTALL™ is quick, with just four easy steps and requires no special equipment to produce professional results.

This hasn't been available in the UK for a long time, it is now, well soon, I'm just waiting for DHL to get their act together, hopefully should be early next week.

The guy that makes is is more than happy to answer "how to" emails about his product, contact details are on rustall.com.

Thanks John you will be getting an order then, then.

And I will give the rest of you a review of it to see if it's as good as it says it is.

So how does the panzer putty perform once it's got loads of acrylic paint all over it? Looks amazing stuff, but find it hard to believe that it's properties aren't affected by Matt paint?

When I get it John I will use it for all the builds I do for a month or two just to see how it's affected by paint an will let you know and show you what happens to it

Cheers Ian, I wait with baited breath, as if it does work, it'll be a brilliant addition to our tool kits!

So who is wishing that they still had the pound of crazy putty from when they where kids. Sounds like a good repurposed jobbie to me. I'll be interested to see how you get on with it Ian.

I like the look of the rust effect.

I've bought Rustall in the States a couple of times and used it for a few years. It really is brilliant stuff, I can highly recommend it.
