Those kits are quite basic from my recollection. A ship that saw active service on Operation Corporate too.

any consolation, i know someone who only does ships, he often works in a smaller scale to this and he often uses pe! got better eye sight than me lol

Got this one started now, the bay is painted and fitted

Nice work so far Ian. These Airfix ships are rather sparse by themselves, but with the PE they should come to life. I've got an old Ajax with WE PE waiting in the wings, so interested to see how you do your PE work.

Used WEM etch quite a lot,and built a fair few of their kit's.

Pre-shaded and painted the hull, I've tried to make it look like the plating you get but I don't think it's worked out.
