Think I may look for a Fw190 or 109 to go with it, to do a battle diorama type thing.

Made a start on this one, with me going to build it in flight I’ve had to sort the wheels out

So I’ve cut one wheel in half top to bottom sanded the two halves and re glued them together. Once that’s dry I’ll cut them in half from the side and they should fit nicely.

Put some detail on the bomb bay doors. And I’m thinking of changing the guns on the sides.

Right with me going to build this in flight, I need some pilots.

And I’ve also started the base.

With the B17 nearly ready for painting, I thought I’d start the 109. Also with this going to be in flight it too needs a pilot. So I’m going to use one of the pilots you sometimes get in the egg planes.

He will get painted in German colours.

Hi Ian like the idea of adding the pilots make a big difference, I'm also going to the same by adding a pilot, top turret gunner, full cockpit and bomb aim, means a lot of cutting out.:surprised:
