im doing this for the GB

truely ancient Tamiya kit that was new tool back in the 60's in its powered toy guise and like this as a kit from the mid 70s but im still going to enjoy doing it, like Ron the age or pedigree of a kit dosnt bother me

not sure how far im going to go with it yet might keep it basic

Paul, we'll fight the 'Beast from the East' together - see what I wrote there? Well, Far East, anyway. Topical or what?

well that didnt take long!

to be fair as this is an older tamiya kit ther isnt that many parts in the box

ive added some ballast to the hull which also doubles as where i screw in my 'handle'

and with a Universal Unit of Size Comparison

next it will be a coat of dark yellow

Off to a flyer!
Nice one, Paul.
Not many parts for sure, but some nice moulded in detail, which sure makes for a quick build.

decided to go for a simple dark yellow with green over camo

its been cleared ready for the decals and then a dark wash

attached the road wheels, and working on the tracks now

whole thing had a black wash

not sure how to go with this, im actually leaning towards not doing much more other than a matt clear coat rather than over doing it with weathering

that's the age old, question, lol, what is right or wrong with doing weathering,
to me what setting its in,and most of all, what you enjoy doing, there,is no right or wrong to me,
its what i like at the time,:sad-face:
will look forward to next update,
