You do not want to see a photo of me - they use my photo's on Halloween and at Christmas to keep away the carol singers....
Mike.

That's enough to keep me home!!!!!!……….

I like Andy's reasoning though.........

I really would love to go, but it is just too far away for me and then there's the ferry too!!! Have fun and stay sober Gents. Oh, and tell JR..."No Kits, No Kits, No Kits" from me.......

I know Paul, but he's a great person anyway. I just looked and it's about 700 miles to the show from here. One day though...…………...

Matron has already dosed him with the "No Kits" serum so he should be good to go. I would however, frisk him for the possibility of pyrotechnic devices and such combustibles that may prohibit his entry into said show.:rolling:

I have much "show envy" and do miss them here in Montana. I used to go to and compete in the IPMS shows in and around the San Francisco Bay area back in the early 2000's. They always put me in the 1/48th and smaller class. I hope as many of you that can make it to the show have a great time would love to see some Pics. not only of the contest and displays but you guys as well. Cheers and have a great time. Rick H.
Rick, I will do the normal photo sweep, and keep an eye out for 1/48 scale. as for getting a group photos are you really sure your ready.
This was last years rush to the tea bar.

Be an environmentalist and become a cyclist, you young un's no stamina, us old uns can zip along on our zimmers at least 10 steps to the hour....

Don't bother with 1/48 scale stuff JR, It is the 1/87 scale for me. My earlier comment refered to my having to compete with 1/48th, 1/72 and 1/76 scale modelers because at that time there weren't enough people building in those scales to warrant a specific category for each one. Competition was stiff, but I managed. Hope you all have FUN !

Mike, I ride my bike back and forth to work everyday. That's 13 km with rain, snow, wind, sun, or hurricanes and all other crap! 700 miles is a bit far for a weekend I'm afraid……………….

Right, understood.
Rick will do , If I remember last time there was not a lot of 1.87, but will make the effort to find it .

Hey Rick,

Pedals and a 21 gear Shimano changer. I try to keep myself fit with riding it everyday. You have to be careful though as there are so many idiots who want to take you out on every corner and intersection…..

Thanks Buddy, but No sail yet!!! Still working the legs...…..

Good for you, you do realise that we motorists get points for having you off - 5 for into the kerb, 10 for on a corner and a whopping 50 if we get you in the hedgerow. And based on that I have found you a new bike, all set up for everyday accidents, but you have to bring your own paper....

Happy trail-ways,
Mike.
