Hi this is No 8 on Pete's Toon production line, the French Somua S35.

It comes with the French and German cupolas and decals.

After the fall of France a number (297) were taken into service by the Germans, they modified the cupola by cutting its top off and installing a simple hatch.



Parts


The wheels have pins to holed them on so you can still on/off for painting.

Front & rear panels and side skirts, 4x tow shackles.

Lower hull.


Upper hull, replaced exhaust tail pipes.




The turret .


Build stage complete .





Upgrades to follow.

Upgrades that I could find to do.

Visor stay, front M/G drilled out the cupole viewing ports.

Replaced exhaust tail pipes added white card to extend exhaust clamp, tow hook, shortened antenna mast, rear hatch handle. rear shelf.

Hi Jim thanks I think I've found my skill level and I'm just starting the last one a Firefly then a lot of hairy stick work.

Hi small update, main & detail painting all done.
