He looks adorable doesn't he, well we spent a couple of worrying hours at the vets, took him for a walk this morning and he picked up a stick (as he usually does) then it broke and he started choking and frothing at the mouth, I tried to get it out but he kept biting me, I found rubbing him on the throat seemed to soothe it so my missus phoned the emergency vet and took him in, he was so distressed I was upset my missus was upset, they tried to get it out but he wouldn't let them in the end they had to put him out, he's home now and it's so funny it's like he's drunk wobbling about all over the place, it was a scare though, I know he's not ours but we love him like he is although he did cost us nearly 300 quid today I consider it money well spent.

He's our frankie our other grandchild.

Good to hear he's ok, we had to take one of ours to the vet the other day, she started coughing turns out she has a heart condition, we just have to keep an eye on her.

I hope she continues to be OK, is there nothing they can do.

Not yet, the vet said to keep an eye on her make sure the cough doesn't get any worse, if it does then they will look at medication, she's 12 years old which is old for a cavalier King Charles.
