Okay, you all must go through an unbelievable amount of plastic, resin, glue and paint each year which means that your completed kits are sitting somewhere.
The question I have is...where?
The kits I’ve previously made are all up in my loft, most of them, as they were dioramas are in individual Trumpeter display cases, others are in the same general vicinity as them.
What about all of you?
Proudly on display?
Stuck in the loft/garage/shed?

If you put them in display cases do you use the Trumpeter ones or some other kind?

Mine are sat in the telly room at the moment, with a few on my PC desk at the other end of the same room.

Since I haven't built that many yet compared to most it hasn't been a problem up to now, but I'm running out of space. I'm thinking about putting up some shelves in our utility room for my favourites and storing the others in plastic boxes in the loft.

For me it really just a window sill in my office / modelling room... but it’s rapidly filling up... as I mainly do busts and figures they don’t take up too much room, although I do have some things from our house move 4 years ago still in the garage

Drew, mine are in the cave, I built some display units when I redid the cave. Running out of room now. Have one in the house, and one from Peter Day. Going to have to decided where the older ones will go soon, no doubt in the attic. :crying:

im lucky in that i get the spare room to use

got these on the wall........bought the second one a few months ago so its slowly filling up......thinking of getting a third

how ever, they arnt very wide.......so anything too big, or has got too old and been replaced in the display, gets put into a set of large storage boxes that are just the right width to go under the bed.....that way they are kept dust free but still accessible if i want to take any to a show

Here is the better part of half of my builds.........the remainder are in another cabinet in my Den along with my only diorama which is on the coffee table in the same room. Don't have a single build in storage.......plan to keep it that way with another display case under construction presently. Rick H.P1011310.JPG

I've got two identical display cabinets, one for 1/48 scale and one for other scales. They are a standard Argos stock item that come with 7 glass shelves, have glass sides and doors, and include LED lighting. They come flat-packed and were easy to assemble.

Thanks for sharing guys.

Andy (@Paintguy ), what’s that thing in the middle at the right hand side...looks interesting!

@Jason Crausby who’s that over Joker’s right shoulder?

Rick, (@Mini Me ) that’s a LOT of grey! You never fancy doing a nice bright red fire engine or something? I see there’s a yellow truck in there though so I guess that’s something :tears-of-joy: .

As I said, mine are in the loft but I'm hoping to "annex" a part of the garage wall to build a shelf for them in the near future.

Hi Drew,

For me, the storage/display question is really not a problem...............I never finish anything, so I don't have a problem displaying it.......

Prost

She who shall be obeyed realised room would be required for my rekindled hobby so invested in a cheap Argos glass unit, it's a work in progress as I'm to purchase some super thin transparent fishing line to replace the cotton I'm using to hang aircraft..
