that one Alan,Im not real sure off as with the sites, everyone has a difference name,so maybe that's for copyright,as I think it all needs to be approved with the BBC to carry the name,

1/48 ??? That's great Monica ........... I can't wait to see the figures. I've been trying to paint a 1/48 pilot figure for my MIG-21, and I'm making a proper "bollix" of it.

Nah it's a tardis people today know it's a tardis they have no idea what a police box is or was

Even if the BBC did try and sue you it would be laughed out and they would get told to wind there neck in lol

If it was under copyright millions of people are breaking the law by talking about doctor who :D

Perhaps I need to send it to you for you to do it for me:D
thank you for such a complement,

is he sitting or standing ?

a way you,can try is to box him in,with a black much like a cartoon, then fill in the colors with a lighter shade

Nice one Moni. Tardis. Wife's cousin worked for the BBC and took us up to the BBC studio, yonks ago.

There in the backyard stood the Tardis. It looked tatty yucky and miserable.

You have brought it to life Moni.

Wonder how many know the British Isles were littered with these boxes.

They each had a telephone so that each constable could call in to the

local police station. Every major roundabout and junction.

Next door to them on a lot of locations stood an AA box for the same

reason. At roundabouts an AA man with his yellow motor bike and sidecar

saluting to attention every car and motor bike which sported the AA badge.

He is sitting ............ Do you mean paint him black first and then do the colours ???....... The body is a green flight suit with various bits I can pick out with a dry brush........ The bit that is driving me nuts is the white helmet, dark visor and black oxygen mask........ Getting the line between the visor and helmet is proving a real challenge........and the visor / mask just seem to be blending as one.........

thank you Laurie,I,m glad you like it,

that would of been great to see the real one,as maybe it was Bakers old one that got knocked about,

a lot of the old police box,s were turned into coffee shops, and other things as well, but most, well there all gone,

what a shame not to keep them about, ;)

the trick is not to use black as the color of the black oxygen mask, but a dark gray,to when washed with a blac it will high lite the lows, and then a very lite dry brush with

a mid gray on the most outer points,

see if that works,for you,

paint him black primer, then use a mid green,as a base, then come back with a darker green wash to get the low points, this should work on that scale, once dry,use a liter

green as a dry brush,

with the visor and helmet ,paint in an off white, and with the visor do the same a dark gray, then run around the edge with a black, very fine line, and use a lite gray as were the

light will hit the visor

hope this helps and explains it a little better for you, ;)

Monica's production line keeps on coming lol. nice work on something so small.
