On holiday stayed at this B & B.


When we returned back each day the room and bathroom had been cleaned. The toilet paper was always folded back in a V at the end.


Got home and being stupid I did the same got a grin from Pauline.


So next time in the loo took some pens and this is the result.


Or should I say hoots of laughter as Pauline fell off the loo seat laughing.

Years ago, when a female friend of my wife's was arriving, to stay in a bedroom where I had recently fitted up a small toilet-and-basin-only ensuite, I wrote in big black letters "GOD SAVE YOUR GRACE". I put it on one of the tearoff sheets about the third back from the end so it was invisible until the roll was used. It was a great success. My wife said I was the only one in the World who would even think of doing a thing like that. I have told her she was wrong and there is another!

Our family used to use the Daily Herald during the war. That was posh. Plus posh string to hang the precisely cut pieces on the bathroom hook. A nail dad was a carpenter.
