Seems everyone can do this 'cept me!

Can someone explain in simple, thicko ABC, how to post thread pictures with some wording between them, rather than them appearing in a bunch after the text?

Thanks,

Ron

Ron if you use Photobucket, it's easy as you put the image tags in between the lines of text. This would look like this:

Blah blah blah....

IMAGE TAG

blah blah blah ....

IMAGE TAG

And so on ...

If you use the uploader on here, type your words to accompany the pics & then select those particular pictures & upload them as norma. Once they're uploaded, you'll see them in the strip box at the bottom of your screen. Each one will have a check box that is ticked. Directly to the right of these pictures is a clickable box marked ' insert inline '. Click on this & the selected pics will appear in the post below your text.

The cursor will be blinking at the right of the pics, so hit return for a new line & pop some words in to accompany the 2nd lot of pictures. Then upload the next ones & repeat the first stage. Carry on till you're done.

You could upload all the pics you want to display all at once & then pick them by checking or unchecking them, but bit by bit is easier to manage IMHO.

If you need more, either I or someone else could post some screenshots.

Cheers

Patrick

I tend to start the text then upload all the photos. Then as described by Patrick, click the insert in line. All in one go.

These will then appear in a row at the bottom of the text. Then you can high light the pictures just like they are text and drag them to where you want them and or change the order.

I move a few at a time and then add the text. Start the next line of text then move the photos, and so on.

IMPORTANT:

Click on the preview button and have a look that all is well. Once in a while things can go a bit astray and will need a new line started to get things looking the way you wanted them.

Once you are happy with the way it looks, just hit the post thread button.
