discussion powdered weathering paint

hi guys

im new to this lark and just bought some powdered weathering paint of ebay but i dont know how to use them? all the other paints i have ever bused have been liquid so i was wondering what i have to add to the powder or do i brush it in dry there is no makers name on the paint just wp and various numbers.any help would be greatful

Hey tufty, there's many ways you can use them, non of them right or wrong .. its entirely up to you to achieve the effect you want.

I dont use them myself but i've watched you-tube video showing tutorials on their use, some use them as a "sprinkle-on", some use a brush soaked in thinned paint to pick up the powder and place in on the model.

Have a search on you-tube for weathering technique tutorials, you'll be there all day no doubt, there's lots available
