Been doing some testing with paint and priming and got to a point with what i am doing but will be doing mainly brush painting although will use a spray can for priming. Would there be any issues if i primed a few kits at the same time but then not build them for a little while? I have a grey and a white primer, i'm guessing a white primer is best for yellow and red paint?

Any help much appreciated.

I can't see any problems with spray can priming a few models.and then leaving them a while before painting.

Agree with wot 'e said ^^^

The longest I've left a primed model is probably a couple of weeks, but I can't see why considerably longer would be an issue. You might want to give it a clean before painting to get rid of any dust or other debris, but that's about it.

Can’t see any problem either. All that will happen is the paint will cure more thoroughly.

Prime it and let it cure, say 48 hours.
if your not gonna work on it for ages get it in a box or my favorite, swing bin liners, the really flimsy ones.
It keeps the dust off!

Thanks everyone, all good to know. I keep reading some people don't use primers but not sure if that is way to go.

Dont know how you CANT use a primer lol.....its whst provides a suitable surface to paint on.....amongst other things
