I’m currently trying to glue the rigging in place but even the super glue isn’t sticking so well to the paint. What’s the best way of glueing rigging or do I need to scrape the paint where I’m looking to glue?

im not sure to be honest but it’s not new. Perhaps I should purchase a new bottle

Might be worth a try. Better than scraping down all that paint.

Another question to anyone that may have done this already. What’s the best way to attach rigging to the funnels. I suspect that if I try spotting super glue it will inevitably not stick every time so I’ll end up ruining the paint work if I’m not careful. I was thinking of drilling holes but even that would be awkward now they are glued in place. Any help appreciated.

When I was faced with this problem on the RMS Olympic, seem to remember carefully drilling small holes with a hand drill (similar to the Revell one).

Yes, I think this is probably going to be the only way. Might have to get the little dremmel out and do a test hole.
