Nice build! The weathering is magnificent.

I always think these models are lovely :P
 
great build, i do lov the bikes with sidecars, there cue :rolleyes:

great painting and weathering like the brown you used on the saddlebag

Interesting point Quentin on a very nice build.

What point in time was this? Always a bit sceptical, my apologies, about the age of motorcycles as I come from the 1950's era in owning a MC. In the 40's my father had motorcycles.

Notice this has telescopic forks which at least on English Bikes came in after WW11. Not sure about German models. Be interested to find out more.

Hi Laurie,

This bike is an example of what was in German service during WW2 (in the 40's). This particular model is painted in German Afrika Corps colours. The Germans also used the Zundapp KS750 alongside the BMW.

Not sure about the telescopic fork comment, but all example of the R75 from that era that I've seen, do indeed have telescopic forks.
