Wondering has any body used the quick wheel system of masking? I've never mastered the painting of wheels no matter how I try would like thoughts on this

Seems like a reasonable quick option. Do you get much paint misted on the tyre?

Not if you select the right diameter circle. Some aren't exactly the best fit, but I've not had anyone notice anything.

It's way easier than doing them by hand, especially with German tanks! ;)

I use the hole template above as well. My only tip would be to mask around the hole being used to keep the area clean and give the hole a clean ever couple of wheels to stop any paint build up getting to the other side which could catch on the rubber section.

Ive never had a problem painting by hand. Just mount it on some kind of stick (cocktail or bamboo BBQ skewer etc) then hold brush steady and simply rotate the wheel. If you should go off a little then in my opinion this dosnt matter to much as the weathering tends to hide this anyway.

My hands aren't as steady as they used to be and besides I reckon its way faster having tried both ways.
