I know it's a bit early but I've just found out the date for the Telford show.

I had a great time here last year and met members of S.M. there, so I'm in for this year (All being well!)

I will post a reminder in a few week's time and so on up to close to the date of the event.

I'm afraid I'm still going to be at work otherwise I would have joiuned you. I do model boat shows and model engineering shows but not enough plastic model shows so it would have been interesting to have a look around. I'll be there in spirit!!

As Andrew has asked about Cosford and whilst it's fresh in the minds of those who hope to go, can I suggest a time and meeting place?

How about 12.00 noon and meet on the 'Cat walk' underneath the Vulcan Bomber (Same as last year) I can't for the life of me remember which hall it's in....Be hard to miss the monster though!

Any thoughts or amendments chaps?

My bouncy nurse will be coming, so it would be nice if she had a bit of female company whilst us boys are rooting around!

sound like a line from a chick flick......meet you on the catwalk under the vulcan..75% sure i will be attending at the moment so under the vulcan it is. normally if you wanted to find someone into modelling you have to look for the geek but does that get diificult in a room that is full of them .lol. just told my father in law that i may be going ,he laughed a lot and then called me a f***ing geek. so are we all geeks or just kids that never grew up

Can you convey a message to your Father in Law?

Tell him when we have finished eating Scott's Birthday cake, with what's left of it me and the 'Committee' will pay him a visit, re-light the candles and if he still insists on calling us Geeks, we will insert the cake (suitably reshaped) into his person.......

There again as he is a Scouseland overspill, he might have bigger committee members than me, so best just send him my regards instead. lol

I consider myself like peter pan ....... the boy who never grew up and i hope you can make it this year andrew, Ron try to stop me buying kits i don't want this year will you and i finally gave the scharnhorst cruiser kit to a mate in work as it's been sitting in my stash for a year.

You still had the Scharnhorst? I remember you getting that now, and a few others besides!

Only couple of weeks ago I started to build the 1/48 Dauntless, which I have a build thread on going at the minute. I still have a 1/48 Grumman Avenger from last year's show in it's box.

If you remember Tony (yakface) bullied me into buying both. I didn't want them of course......
