Hi all I am in progress of building a pak wagon which I have already spent almost a month building. I hsve had it painted and ready for weathering for 4 days, so I put a wash on one side of the damn thing and next I know all the paint is being bloody well stripped off. All that bloody work and I will now have to completely re paint one side of the thing again including doing the camouflage, iwas ready for stepping on it and iam very honked off. Iam now done with my ranting and am going to bed as I have to be working at 04:30 in the morning.

Ouch Sorry to hear that Scott, hopefully you'll feel a bit more optimistic about it after a good kip...

That is bad, sorry to hear that, I add a coat of varnish after a main paint job as I too learned the hard way when adding washes and colours and caused a reaction with the paints.

I hope you can get it sorted and try and stay stress free.

Ouch!

Step away from the workbench and have a brew. It normally works for me.

Sorry to hear this.......... I know how bloody annoying it can be, believe me.

This may or may not help you, but I have learned to put a coat of Klear between each layer to protect the work beneath, then let the klear dry into a hard, durable surface, and in theory you should have a sort of safety barrier that should stop different paints and products having a nasty reaction with one another. Good luck!

Oh Bum. Never a fun thing to have happen.

I hope you can sort it without to much hassle.
