I have a bowed resin rifle does ayone know of a safe sure way to straighten it up?

Never done a gun barrel but I've straightened other resin bits simply by heating them up in a pan of water which has just boiled to soften them and then,well,straightening them.

Just give the part a few dunks to try and figure out when it's pliable enough. This depends on how thick the part is and I suspect the resin.
