discussion restaurant display model

I was contracted by a restaurant group here in SA to build models that fit into the theme of "olt time" 


I designed this model to look like a fictional "Aerunautica Macchi #3".


Wingspan is 2,2m, mostly wood with actual cotton and dope for the fabric. I did this so that the internal structure can show through when lightened from above.


Pilot was 3d printed , the radial engine is a vacform unit, I just aaded the valve pushrods.

Very nice build. And I know all about sunlight, we covered it in a few history lessons.
