real looking good Terry,all the added detail, is looking good, just add as much as you can and dirt and leaves all over :rolleyes:

and like the cobwebs in the last few pics , ;)

the roof is fine, hope you dont mind, just were you have the darker spots, just blend them in with shades of lighter and will look tops, o_O
 
real like that dusty grime, your using ,think its better than my Vallejo dirt, ;)

Monica I lightened the grime by mixing a bit of the light wash with it for the dusty areas.

The barn is looking amazing Terry! Very dilapidated & forgotten. On the roof, I reckon a brown wash would tie the other shades in nicely.

My only question, what's that bit above

the drums & tyres? Seems too high for a bench!

Thanks Patrick I shall try the brown wash idea. As for the bit above the drums it comes just above head height on a figure and is a storage area.
 
ta Terry, for that bit of info,just have to ask were did you get that from please,

that color has grabbed me like the German red/brown :rolleyes:

it gives a very nice look of aged

I used a combination of Revell rust and Tmiya hull red. The other shades were done using various artists soft pastels.

Yesterday I started making a work bench this morning I weathered it and added a vice. The latter still needs weathering down and I have a few more bits n bobs to add to the bench. I also have a ladder to add to the storage area that needs painting there is a couple of scratch built boxes for parts from both vehicles that neView attachment 91656
