Nice work, I built a 1:48th B-17 and know the issues you had, for storage reasons I didnt glue my wings, makes it easier to take to shows :)

cheers that's a good idea about the wings , sadly I don't have the room to build large Aircraft kits
 
I've only built one of those,years ago,and won't be building another!

You've managed to get a decent result out of a kit which definitely shows its age.

you did a good job,one point the join lines make it look a bit eeekk,filing them flat would give a better look

Great looking aircraft the B17 - it looks very imposing.
 
Looks great made one of these several years ago it was a pig but such a cool plane :) :)
