Hi all here is my next short term project

Great paintwork there Ken that red looks great. Is it from an aerosol can ? I have the same kit in the stash so look forward to more progress. Cheers john

Hi John it's 151 paint, less than 2 quid a can great stuff, although it does stink best sprayed outdoors.

Yet again I have a problem with my paintwork there are a couple of dips in the roof (they don't show in the pics) looks like pin prick grease spots (I think they may have appeared after the pics (not a big deal I hope) just annoying all other parts seem perfect, trouble is the roof is such a focal point, I hope I can sort it cause one thing I have learnt is this stuff don't come off easy, I tried oven cleaners on the original blue colour ( left it for a week and it didn't touch it ) so I just sprayed over it

Keeping an eye on this one Ken, though not an auto model enthusiast, I do like to watch a quality build come together....good job even at this early stage .....Jim

Hi all here is the next update, I'm finding it difficult not to over do the weathering, I'm going for well cared for but used, thing is I love making things old and neglected I think it makes a subject more interesting, keeping that in check is proving extremely difficult, but I have to as the spray job is one of the best I've done, I'm really proud of the gloss (although I think that's just down to the great cheap paint) (incidentally I checked out thing me bobs where my missus said they sold it in metallic colours (only gold and silver in metalic) but even better bargain only a quid a can, of course I couldn't resist so I bought another 5 cans.
