Imho Stephen the hut looks great as well as adding some extra height.

Fantastic job so far.

The Tamiya field drum set (35186) is a handy little kit, that also appears in tamiyas opel blitz kit # 35291 as cargo for the blitz (useless info)

You have done a fantastic job on the drums i like the shade varients...Primo.

Hey Stephen, The field kitchen looks great, I had a heap of fun when i made that kit. Did you notice that the figs arent too bad?

Any of the above kits would be natural for your scene. I like them all and i personally would try and jam them all in lols, but if i had to pick one it would be the flak.

I look forward to more progress. Good job Stephen

That field kitchen is a cracking kit. Here as a couple of shots of a real one that can be found in a museum on Geurnsey. Apologies for the appalling camera phone shots!!

As for the additional kit, I think the bike gives a very realistic atmosphere but the real problem I have with the Tamiya 1/35th bikes is the fact that the spokes are so badly out of scale. If you are lucky you might just find a Hornet kit of a German army pushbike, which I was able to find in the States a couple of years ago. The kit is white metal and the spokes are PE so a much better representation of scale spokes. The cook is from the field kitchen kit and the sailor repairing the mooring rope is actually a Russian tank crew!!
