Here's an update I am now starting to build up the decks and a bit more pe has gone on but most of it won't be used as it's far too small and I have lost quite a bit so most of it will be confined to the larger pieces and railings.

All great progress. The detail at this scale is superb. You are right that often the PE part is not really better than the kit part.

Time for a Start first up is the hull I have the two halves together and the area around the prop shaft needed filling and sanding and smoothing down
And the rudders are fitted all is ready for masking and the first coat of paint.
