I started this kit on a visit to my step sons in October and have been working on it on and off since. It has been a nice kit to build with only one issue. That being the office window sections not fitting quite right. I have given it a subtle weathering with some florys sand and black in areas where the exhuast smoke would make contact. I have used a little artistic license on the front lense cover as I was not sure how they would be covered. To me this seemed the most feesable. all the covers were done with masking fluid and then painted with vallejo cam olive.

Hi Terry,

Very impressive Sir, I like how you have tied the blades down, I think you need a small diorama for it now to finish it off...

Andy...

A very nice Cobra Terry

And as Andy say's would look great on a little base/diorama

I like the little AH-1S, and if I could ever kick this WW2 habit, I might get back into more examples of modern aircraft.

Until then I will be content to view the pictures.

Cheers!

Thanks guys. Andy and Ian I would put it on a base but with it as is I wont need to worry about space.
