Well done for not binning it Phil. The rescribing looks ace. It's 100 times better than what you started with. What is it they say? Something about silk purses and sows ears. Look forward to seeing you cross the finish line with it.

Finally got this one finished. I've learnt so much through this build. I'm not particularly happy with the end finish but consider it a success in some ways. The decals were not great and I had a lot of trouble with the hum roll enamels which I will never use again. Cheers guys. View attachment 243688

Hi Phil I was going to say I missed the start of this build, but then realised you started this a year ago before I joint!


Like you I have little precious time, I would not think about undertaking what you have with this kit because it would probably drive me insane!


Don't get me wrong I put a lot of time in, do a bit of scratch building and rescribing where needed but I'd probably always try to start off with a kit with as much initial quality as possible so fair play to you fella because you made an incredible job of this considering everything in my opinion!
