After a few problems that forced me to abandon this kit has now been solved so starting with the top navigation lights I have built up the flashing circuit and tested the internal lights plus tested for light leakage after painting the inner saucer black.

After problems with LEDs not working I have purchased a real of usb powered ones for two pounds and they are the type that can be individually cut.
