not too long ago I bought a couple of revell Star Wars snap kits I wanted to see if I could improve them or at least get some practice in with oil paints well I've had I mess about this morning and come up with this

All I did was give it a new coat of paint with revell stone grey then a black oil wash rudder down with a kitchen towel to speed up drying

Alan the difference is amazing!

The OOB looks like an toy & the changes you've done make it look real!

Thanks very much Patrick I appreciate it

Now I want to put it in a dio and its hanger on hoth would look quite good and it's easier to do snow :D
 
Good idea! I was toying with doing a Hoth dio for the ' Anything with Snow ' GB.

That's not a pad idea infact it's a great idea , mpc released the at at walker over 20 years ago I might have a look at Telford to see if I can pick up a couple :D
 
I know how you feel bringing back to life thinks like that. I love the job you made it! I bet your satisfaction is over the top! Good job!
 
Very nice i had seen these kits and wandered what they came out like i may be tempted now to try the same.

you know what Patrick said, dont need to say more he has summed it up,so very well done, its superb, :D
 
That makes a huge difference to the way it looks now Alan very nice work.
