Reading the instructions for my next build of the Revell Heinkel He111 H-6, there is a "Build Symbol" of... a Circle with 2 Arrow Heads in it, one pointing to the Left & the other one pointing to the Right & I can not find an explanation of what it means, does anyone know the answer to that..

Also on the Engines you can use either 2 of exhausts Item J13 to both engines

Or you can use 1 of J14 & 1 of J15, & no explanation as to why there is a difference..

Answers please on a Postcard to...:confused::confused:.

John.

The Symbol is used on the upper gun mounting assembly, & also the tail of the bombs, to name just 2 places so I don't think it is meaning the same both sides Ian.

Ok it means that there is a little piece of the mold that needs to be removed / seperatet, see the drawing.
If you want to be sure try it with the bomb and you will see it works. ;)
OK Richi, thanks will know what to expect once I get started on the build, & thanks to Peter & Ian for their efforts. :) :).

If both arrows are joined (unlike the broken one's on Peter's pic) it means either part can be used, depending on which version you want to build.

Thanks Patrick, but that is not the answer LOL

That symbol means that there are small Nodules or Flashing on the part that needs removing before fitting. Why they are only on some parts & not all of them is a Mystery   .

Some parts need more care to ensure that the plastic fills the whole of the mould... Also helps round things stay round...
